Were "Bad Grandpa" scenes filmed in Lincoln, NE?

I'm 34 years young and I've seen everything that Team Jackass has put out over the years.  Seeing the late show of "Bad Grandpa" tonight, surrounded by lots of moviegoers younger than me, I'll raise my hand and say I was one of the loudest laughers in the house.
Being a native Nebraskan, though, I was surprised but not yet 100% convinced that the opening scenes of the movie actually were filmed in Lincoln, NE.   There were some obvious stock footage-type scenes from Lincoln (e.g., the Capitol building) but I'm VERY curious to know if the cast really did get "real reactions" from real Nebraskans.  I should have paid closer attention to the credits at the end... the Producers usually thank the cities that accommodate their filming.  If anyone has any insight on this, let me know.
